Now first, I want to apologize for the complete lack of updates via this blog. I vastly underestimated how hard it would be to connect to the internet from an RV in the middle of nowhere. Today on the 17th of September, we have the first ever double match day. All donations that come in today will be matched by Prime Electric, and then matched again by an anonymous donor. So for example, if you donate $100, that becomes a $300 donation!
So, while you're taking in some of the scenery I've been able to capture on this journey, take the time to donate by clicking here! We are ever so grateful to every single one of you who have given so generously to this cause!
Because of this, you deserve another picture update from our time on the road.
Bender making his way outside Connell, WA
Barry the Beetle, also making his way! You go, Barry!
The fine folks of the Benton County Fire Department in Benton City, who offered us a place to park the rig for the night. Thank you for your hospitality!
Blitz showed up to walk with Bender in Grandview! Needless to say, when Blitz is around he is the center of attention. Thanks, Blitz!
Nate made a surprise visit when we were in Zillah, WA and even donated $100! Thanks for the support, Nate!
A stop to visit our presenting sponsor's Yakima office! Wonderful people!
This big boy had no intention of letting us walk past. Just south of Ellensburg
I pulled over to wait for Bender just outside of Thorp, WA.
Leaving Cle Elum, arbitrary train track photo. Look Ma, I'm artsy!
The road ended, so I walked a couple miles with Bender to the train crossing. Easton here we come!
Good luck, Bender. If the kids in Stand By Me could make it, I have faith in you.
No post is complete without a Stow update. Stow is fine and happy at home now. We miss you buddy!
Outside Connell. If we never see another gravel or dirt road again, it'll still be too soon.
